Account of Father Zygmunt Malacki
I do not know if the moment of being ordained is comparable to entering into marriage or not. My way of thinking, it is a unique moment in life when a person becomes aware of that decision which lasts for the rest of his life.
How did you think when Father Jerzy was going through his holy orders? I believe in similar way. The moment we decide on our choice for a lifetime, the choice along a specific path, the choice of priesthood. Of course, in the moment of ordination nobody can predict what will happen. For example, when living with Father Jerzy, who could have predicted the scenario that God was setting. Imagine a friend, one year younger, in the future building a museum, the museum for a martyr. No-one!
